My Pre-Schooler!!!!

As much as we and Ever love Mrs. Vickie, Chad and I have wanted to get Ever into something with some structure. We both feel he needs more than "free play" Monday thru Thursday. So we have decided to enroll him in a "Childs Day Out" program at a Church in Grapevine. He will attend 'Church at the Cross' every Tuesday and Thursday and Mrs. Vickies every Monday and Wednesday.

This is a really neat school because starting in the 2yr old classes they have daily activities that require them to switch rooms all day. The class he will be in has 11 two year olds and two teachers. They have a "home room" but do music class, story time in the library, art class and they do Chapel every Tuesday. He will have to start bringing his own lunch, so we get to buy him a little lunch box! He will even be in a little Christmas play!! This school also does things like color of the month, where all the kiddos have to wear a certain color T-shirt one day of the month, they do Pajama Day, Western Day, Drive-In Movie Day and the list goes on........

So needless to say we are so excited for him to get some structure and start learning the basics. When we told him he was going to start school, he got sooooooooo excited!!!! When we told him he was going to the same school as Mason (one of his friends) he started yelling and getting soooo excited. Meet the teacher night is Sept. 3rd and his first day of school is Sept. 8th!!! Cant wait to post pics!!

A Bunch Crammed into One

This is probably one of my most random blogs I have posted. There is a little bit of everything in this (mostly pictures) but I am trying to keep everyone updated on whats been going on, along with some pics of our family :)

Where's Ever?? (In the very back of the picture playing with something). A few High School Girlfriends and I got together for Brunch last Saturday with all of our kiddos, 5 total that day. They all played really well together and we had fun catching up. Even though we had fun, next "Old School Reunion" will be Mommas alone!!!

Chad had his annual RE/MAX Client appreciation day at a CATS game (baseball). This is the first year Ever was able to really enjoy it. Everytime a player came up to bat, he would say "Go Boy!". It was so funny!

This is one of the sky divers that jumped out of the plane to start the game off.

Nana and Ever at the game.

Great Grandma got her hip replaced in July and Ever was VERY concerned that she was at the Dr's (hospital) for so long. He asked about her night and day and always wanted to make sure she was "ok". Here he is looking at her in her bed a few days after she had her surgery.

One of our many dance sessions......I think he is either trying to do a kartwheel or he is breakdancing- not sure but he thinks its cool!

Dancing again......

Ever before his haircut a few weeks ago

Ever during his hair cut. He still isnt really sure about hair cuts, he just knows if he goes to see Mrs. Sharon he gets his hair cut along with the privilege of spraying her spray bottle everywhere and candy! So its more of a love hate thing he has going on.

Ever LOVES tools!!!!! Thats all there is to it. He loves to "fix" things and thinks its just super cool. He especially loves to help daddy in anything that he may be fixing. Here is decided his pull-up would be good to hold his tools.

Ever's 3rd plane ride. This is him and I flying solo to San Antonio for our Sea World trip (we met Chad there). Not a great picture but the best I could do by myself :)

Ever loves to fix my hair....there is that word again "fix"! He thinks its so fun to do and he tells me "pretty momma". I just sit there and take him ripping my hair out one by one, if I tried to stop him he would say "no, no, no , no".......so as any good mom would do, I just take it :)

This is random, but so funny! I took a pic of Chad passed out on the couch :)

This would be our sliding glass door in our kitchen!!! We rarely have someone else mow our lawn but we did that day and a rock flew out from under the lawn mower and shattered (luckily the outside pane) our sliding glass door. Personally, I was glad......we needed a new sliding glass door anyway ;)

One last thing I want to do is write down (remember for the future) Evers favorites at 2yrs and 4 mos:

- Favorite Drink? Chocolate Milk

- Favorite TV Shows? Diego, Max & Ruby, Backyardigans, & Wonder Pets
- Favorite Food? Chicken nuggets and fries or fruit

- Favorite Sayings? "Thats so nice", "I love you sooo much", "Yeah, Boy!", "I can't do it", "It will be sooo fun", "I need medicine", "No Dr. mommy", "I'm awake", "I'm coming"

- Favorite Movie? Monsters, Alvin & the Chip Munks, Madagascar, Toy Story, Robots, Nemo

- Favorite things to do? Play outside, play in water, play with friends, play with your tools

- Favorite Person? Nana (hands down)

You love to pretend you are a monster and crawl on the ground and growl, you love to talk, you love to have my attention, you love to hide, you hate time-outs and say your sorry as soon as you are in time out, you hate getting dressed, you are just now starting to have an opinion on what you wear, you like getting your hair fixed by daddy (most days), you love to eat and get really excited when its time to eat, you love to play really rough but you dont ever mean to hurt anyone, you love for me to wrap you up like a baby and hold you and fuss over you, you love to pretend you are sleeping during the day and love when I tell everyone to be quiet because you are sleeping, mostly you just love life.

You have such a sweet, cuddly, fun loving, happy, outgoing, excited, full of life kind of attitude and we love it!!

Its Been Awhile...........

Our Summer has been jammed packed with trips, weddings, birthdays, etc......so it has been hard to keep my blog updated.

We took a family trip at the end of July to San Antonio to visit Sea World. We stayed with my Cousin's Ryan and Tiffany and their 2 kiddos!! Needless to say, we had a blast and wish they lived closer. Ever enjoyed every second of this trip and loved having Brandon and Ava around all day. Also, during this time Chad drove to Louisiana to pick up our new "ride"...........I finally have an SUV and I must say it is much easier on the back (moms, I know you feel me)! Here are some pics from our trip:
